Curry Night etc...
Good morning everyone! So, avoidance of counting money is a problem I have. I know that I'm useless with figures. Since I no longer do maths (what a shame...) I avoid doing anything that involves numbers. I'm no good with them (I fluked that B in GCSE maths haha). So anyway... the curry night was a massive success! I'm going to give you a final total after counting it this morning... I made £527! It was so hectic, I barely got a chance to thank everyone for coming. I want to give a massive thanks to mum, dad, Roshani and my best friends, Jenny, Lauren and Jasmine for coming early to help with everything! You're so amazing. Just while I'm mentioning them, I'd like to congratulate Lauren for getting an interview at Oxford University (Keeble) and Jasmine for getting an interview at Cambridge University (Clare)... Well done and thank you! Love you lot...And then I'd like to say my current total is...
I've smashed my fundraising target for November! Thanks guys! I'm so happy and thankful for all of you lot! And just another thanks, Darren Perkins my boss at The Bull Pub, Cottered donated a cheeky bottle of wine for the raffle. Thanks Darren! :D

A2 Drama Exam
Wednesday 7th December - 6.30pm @ Freman College Drama Dept.
My lovely classmates and Drama teacher have let me turn this into a little bit of a fundraising event. Three half an hour original devised pieces will be performed. There will be intervals inbetween each play where everybody can get refreshments (and those who still have to perform to freak out... ahhhhhh, so scary! Christmas party
16th December - 8.00pm @ Cottered Village Hall
Just like the last one, £5 a ticket, and by them from me or my sister in advance. I'll send messages to everyone on the facebook event when I'll be selling tickets in tutors. If you aren't on the event just drop me a message or email (address on the side) and I'll get you/reserve you a ticket :D

A little fundraising update...
SO... I'm just telling all of you lovely people... I'm at a total of...Thanks to everyone who has helped me so far! I know it's taken me a long time to do all of this updating, it's a lot to keep track of! School is hectic as ever, I've been very very busy!
Next Friday is the Sri Lankan curry night and it's coming together very nicely. My lovely mum has been a massive help organising it and I'm excited about how it's going to look. Although, I don't know if anyone else has any experience of this, but putting tables together is really hard, it's all very political haha. Also, I'd love to say thank you to Michele Dawn Jewellery for donating a beautiful raffle prize! Check out her amazing jewellery if you're stuck for Christmas presents! I really want all of the things on her site, so if you're buying me a Christmas present... head over there haha.
Everyone has been incredibly helpful with helping me reach my November deadline... a very lovely person who I cannot name has donated me £100! Already knew he was a babe, he didn't have to go and prove it!

This wasn't funny. Thanks for all the support guys... However, I am very tempted! But I don't think I could do it... I've never had no hair, I was born with lots of hair, and I have lots of hair now... So I'm sorry all of the 90 sadistic people who liked this status, but you would all have to look at my weird, hairless head much more than I would hahahaha.

Halloween Party
The Halloween party is going so well, I've sold so many tickets already! Hi guys, welcome to the new website! Hope you like it. Now, I've got a few events planned over the next two months, as my first fundraising target of £1500 is for the end of november! which is a bit scary!So, first, on October 21st I've planned a Halloween party/ End of term party at the Cottered Village hall. I hope a few bands will play, and then some drum and bass / dub step type things later on. It'll be about a fiver on the door (probably a little less depending on how many people come) and those of you lucky people who are over 18, the bar will be open. If you're interested in playing, drop me a message on facebook, or send me an email at lana.mayp@gmail.com. Also, prize for the most awesome outfit! I know I miss dressing up for Halloween - I'm thinking mean girls? And lifts and stuff - remember a taxi to/from Cottered to Buntingford will probably only be about a fiver, and between three or four of you that's nothing. So please try and make it, remember it's for charity! A facebook event will be up soon for you to get the full details!
The next thing that's going down, is a family event, rather than more of a 'teenage' thing, and that's the authentic Sri Lankan curry night!
